#1 Pitcher Trophy Won by Road Warriors Walder Thursday, October 26th, 2028 The Westside clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Daryl Walder will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2028 August Herrman League Cy Young Award. Walder made 34 starts this year, winning 20 and losing 4. He threw 197.2 innings, fanned 281, allowed 141 hits and 48 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .199 average as he logged an impressive 2.50 ERA. Domingo Moreno of the Houston Sting finished second in voting, while Jay Retter of the Westside Road Warriors finished third. |
