Seals Yoshioka Suffers Injury
Tuesday, September 19th, 2028
Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Seals when after today's game against the Capitals, the club found out they would be without the services of Eisaku Yoshioka for at least 11 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Yoshioka was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow.

So far this year Yoshioka has made 11 starts, tossed 126 innings, struck out 135 batters and walked 70. His record is 7-6 with a 3.43 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .224 batting average.
