Pablo Bautista out of Lineup 6 Months
Monday, September 18th, 2028
Stroudsburg reliever Pablo Bautista could miss the remainder of the season because of a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Sioux City game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Bautista would be out 6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

To date this year Bautista has won 2 and lost 21 with a 8.22 ERA, no saves and 100 strikeouts in no relief appearances.
