Román August Herrman League's Hottest Hitter Monday, September 4th, 2028 22-year-old Carlos Román made a few Westside headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .478 average. Román collected 1 home run, 10 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Currently Román is batting .318 with 6 home runs and 55 RBIs. |
