Rodríguez Awarded August's BOL Top Bat Prize Friday, September 1st, 2028 For a rookie just breaking in, Jorge Rodríguez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the BOL Batter of the Month award for August. The 22-year-old third baseman for the Charleston Panthers hit .310 with 11 home runs, 22 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This season Rodríguez has delivered 67 hits in 243 at-bats for a .276 average with 20 home runs. He is getting on base at a .367 clip and his totals also include 45 RBIs and 43 runs scored. This year Rodríguez has played in 66 games. |
