Seals Walt Keough Wins AHL Award Monday, August 14th, 2028 The top batter in the August Herrman League last week was Walt Keough, who batted .407 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage. During the week Keough banged out a .407 batting average (11-for-27), 3 home runs, 12 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. Today the Beach City first baseman received the AHL Player of the Week Award. Keough is swinging at a .243 pace on the year with 17 home runs, 74 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has played in 108 games. |
