Royce Leveque Out for Season
Friday, August 11th, 2028
Playoff hopes of Bush Wackers player Royce Leveque have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Sioux City Knights. Leveque is expected to miss up to 13 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs.

This year Leveque has a 10-5 mark in 25 starts with a 3.88 ERA. He has given up 101 hits in 127.2 innings, struck out 149 and issued 51 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .212 batting average against him.
