Ross Batstone Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
Monday, August 7th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Ross Batstone of the Boise Bloodhounds didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Batstone sustained his season-ending injury during the Chippewa River Chiefs game yesterday at The Reservation. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Boise medical staff reported Batstone had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months.

This year Batstone has 1 save in 22 relief appearances with a 4-4 record and 5.71 ERA.
