Victoria Starter Named BOL's Best Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Juan Cruz took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Buck O'Neil League Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 22-year-old Vikings starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 6-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 34 batters in 39.1 innings and compiled a 1.60 ERA. This year Cruz has worked 116 innings with 103 strikeouts en route to a 11-5 record and 3.18 ERA. |
