Roberts Must Sit Out 3 Games Monday, July 24th, 2028 Troy Roberts of the Houston Sting has been suspended 3 games by the league for his prolonged argument with the home plate umpire during the game with Whitewater at The Aerie. The 19-year-old catcher angrily protested being called out on strikes and wouldn't leave the field after his ejection. It took two coaches and his manager to physically remove the hostile Roberts from the field. For the season Roberts has hit .268 with 2 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 66 games and scored 25 times. |
