Moreno Earns June's Best Pitcher Honor Saturday, July 1st, 2028 There's something about a young rookie winning the August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Domingo Moreno, a 26-year-old starter for the Houston Sting. In June, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.64 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 33 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing teams to a .165 average. This year Moreno has compiled a 7-0 mark with a 1.11 ERA. |
