League Suspends Spear and Ohayashi for Fisticuffs Wednesday, June 14th, 2028 The league decided to come down hard on Bruno Spear of the Jedi Knights and Akinori Ohayashi of the Gnats for their roles in a brawl during a game between New Orleans and Nichols at The Republic. Both combatants will receive 4-game suspensions because of their confrontation. Spear is presently hitting at a .297 pace with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and has scored 39 times. So far this year Ohayashi has delivered 2 saves. In 29 relief appearances he has 68 strikeouts in 64.1 innings with a 7.41 ERA and 3 wins and 2 losses. |
