BOL's Top Player, Ivey of Kingwood Monday, June 12th, 2028 22-year-old Dennis Ivey made a few Kingwood headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Buck O'Neil League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 5 hits in 7 at-bats to put up a .714 average. Ivey collected 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the season Ivey has hit .313 with 5 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 31 games and scored 7 times. |
