Guzmán Week's Best Player Monday, June 12th, 2028 So far in his young career, Jesús Guzmán has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the August Herrman League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Brisbane Bush Wackers third baseman hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 6 hits in 14 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far on the season Guzmán is hitting .275 with 7 home runs, 33 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 53 hits and played in 59 games. |
