League Suspends González 4 Games
Monday, June 5th, 2028
For his part in an altercation with an umpire over a third strike, Nichols Gnats left fielder Juan González will have to sit out 4 games. The league commissioner's office today notified the Gnats that González had been suspended for his poor conduct during the Emeralds game yesterday at Prefontaine Park.

After being ejected, González turned and walked toward the dugout, but then turned around, began yelling at the umpire and kicked dirt on home plate. The league said this type of behavior is not acceptable and will be dealt with according to league disciplinary policies.

In 14 games this year González has posted a .178 average and put up these numbers: 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
