Coney Island-Baltimore Brawl, Cattermole and Jens Suspended Sunday, May 28th, 2028 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Coney Island Coliseum. A free-for-all broke out when Lester Cattermole of Coney Island and Paolo Jens of Baltimore rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 9 games. In his season totals, Cattermole has 4 home runs, .254 BA, .405 OBP, 20 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played in 45 games. In 6 starts this year Jens has crafted a 1-2 record and a 9.13 ERA. |
