St. Paul's Da Silva Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Friday, May 19th, 2028 St. Paul Saints third baseman Daniel Da Silva banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Kingwood Knights, 9-8. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Da Silva said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Daniel Da Silva hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Javier González in the 9th.
