Frosties Kazutoshi Tanaka Will Miss Season
Saturday, May 6th, 2028
The season is finished for Kazutoshi Tanaka of the Barrow Frosties. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Frosties center fielder suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing the ball in a recent game against the Chippewa River Chiefs. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal.
This season Tanaka has delivered 18 hits in 69 at-bats for a .261 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .373 clip and his totals also include 4 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year Tanaka has played in 22 games.
