Arthur Bags AHL Best Player Award Monday, May 1st, 2028 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Tony Arthur of the Springfield Capitals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Arthur rocked opposing pitching for a .550 average (11-for-20), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Arthur is hitting .377 with 3 home runs and 17 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .483 clip and scored 17 runs. |
