AHL Presents Top Pitcher Trophy Wednesday, October 27th, 2027 24-year-old Filipe Castanheta of the Westside Road Warriors put together a good year in 2027 for such a young player. Castanheta was named today as the winner of the August Herrman League Cy Young Award. Castanheta crafted an impressive 14-1 record and a 1.85 ERA. In 107 innings he allowed 77 hits, struck out 171, and walked 13. Younis Jahangiri of the Springfield Capitals finished second in voting, while Marvin Myers of the Springfield Capitals finished third. |
