Dancin' Outlaws Shut out Seals, Shimizu Winner Sunday, August 1st, 2027 In a knockout performance, Arata Shimizu beat the Seals 9-0 with an impressive 1-hit shutout. The Dancin' Outlaws hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Shimizu told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Seals manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." Thus far this season, Shimizu has tossed 139.2 innings in 23 starts, fanned 169 batters, walked 31 and put up a 2.45 ERA with 14 wins and 2 losses. |
