3-Game Suspension for Fabre
Saturday, July 24th, 2027
The league has issued a 3-game suspension to Gauchos first baseman Denis Fabre for his bad conduct yesterday at the El Paso-Kingwood game at Franklin Mountains Field. Fabre was tossed out of the game for heatedly questioning a third-strike call. Once the home plate umpire ejected him, Fabre ran over to argue more, even though the umpire warned him specifically, "Don't you come over here."

Fabre then retreated to the dugout, where he threw several bats onto the field and followed with a toss of an athletic trainer's bag. Later, Fabre ran out of the clubhouse tunnel to continue arguing -- a big no-no for a player who has already been thrown out.

Currently Fabre is hitting .231 and has collected 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 21 times, while playing in 65 games.
