Siew Nabs AHL Weekly Award Monday, July 5th, 2027 A hot-hitting week got Jiao-long Siew the August Herrman League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Springfield first baseman slammed them for a .375 average, 12 hits in 32 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, Siew shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." In 2027 Siew has hit at a .219 clip with 59 hits, 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 29 times. |
