Wang Batters Grand Canyon for 5 Hits Wednesday, May 12th, 2027 I-tsing Wang had an answer for everything the Grand Canyon ValleyCats threw him today in the Barrow 15-0 triumph at Grand Canyon Valley Park. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Barrow third baseman went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Wang said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." I-tsing Wang hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This year Wang is batting .357 with no home runs and 5 RBIs. In 13 games he has scored 3 times. |
