San Antonio's Massey Chosen FFL Batter of the Month Friday, September 1st, 2028 Jon Massey put together a good August to earn the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to San Antonio officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Storm Troopers first baseman posted a .369 batting average with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and 31 runs scored. Massey is hitting .298 this year with 28 home runs, 117 RBIs and 103 runs scored. He has 156 hits in 523 at-bats, 76 walks and a .383 on-base percentage. Massey has played in 136 games. |
