Fujii Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, August 26th, 2028 It was high-fives all around for Misao Fujii at Earl Campbell Stadium today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the DeKalb Cornhuskers. Fujii smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 14-1 win. "Misao was hitting everything," said Storm Troopers manager Ernie Goslin. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Cornhuskers manager Shusaku Fukuda told BNN beat writers that Fujii "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Fujii oversleeps next time." Misao Fujii hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
