League Gives Silver and Behm 7-Game Suspensions
Thursday, August 24th, 2028
Bad blood could be brewing between the Defenders and the Ducks. In yesterday's contest at North Shore Park, West Coast's Steve Silver and Wisconsin Dells's James Behm caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Silver and Behm were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 7 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

For the season Silver is batting .296 with 122 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 57 times and batted in 84.

In 2 relief appearances in 2028, Behm has nailed down the victory 0 times for his club. In 44.1 innings he has fanned 37 batters and walked 24. His won-lost record is 4-1 with a 4.26 ERA.
