This Week's Star Player is Wolf Monday, August 21st, 2028 So far in his young career, Herman Wolf has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Rock River Rats third baseman hit at a torrid .462 clip as he collected 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Wolf is hitting .294 with 22 home runs and 96 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .364 clip and scored 74 runs. |
