Ford Frick League Names Top Player Monday, July 24th, 2028 Pitchers who faced the Phoenix Lights last week were happy to see Stan Wallace in the rear view mirror. The 23-year-old catcher was dubbed the Ford Frick League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .517 clip. For the week he also chalked up 15 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Wallace is batting .347 this year with 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 50 hits in 144 at-bats. |
