Zong-ming Yen Hurt, Out for Year
Thursday, July 20th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Zong-ming Yen of the Topeka Predators didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Yen sustained his season-ending injury during the Cincinnati Snaps game yesterday at The Studio. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Topeka medical staff reported Yen had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
This year Yen is 0-and-0 with no saves and a 3.92 ERA. He has given up 15 hits in 20.2 innings with 19 strikeouts.
