Atlantic City-Frisco Free-for-All Gets 5-Game Suspensions
Wednesday, July 12th, 2028
One player challenged the other with some angry words at the Enforcers-Rams game at Parliament Field yesterday. There was some pushing and shoving -- then the dugouts emptied. There was a lot of scuffling, but no punches thrown. When order was finally restored and the dust settled, the umpires ejected Atlantic City's Celestino Evaristo and Frisco's António Méndez.

Now both antagonists will get some time off, courtesy of the league commissioner. They were suspended 5 games for inappropriate and aggressive behavior.

To date this year Evaristo is batting .169 with 1 home run.

His record this season is 8-3 in 20 starts and Méndez has a 4.93 ERA.
