Hamada Week's Best in FFL Monday, July 3rd, 2028 22-year-old Ichizo Hamada made a few Rock River headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .571 average. Hamada collected 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This season Hamada has hit at a .382 clip with 41 RBIs, 9 home runs and 36 runs scored. |
