Phillips Garners ACL #1 Pitcher Award Saturday, July 1st, 2028 Over the past month Phil Phillips has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Alexander Cartwright League. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Riverside Red Bulls posted 6-0 mark and a 1.71 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 42 innings, permitted 23 hits and fanned 49 batters. Phillips has a 14-1 season record so far. In 17 starts, he has fanned 107 batters in 108.2 innings with a 2.82 ERA. |
