Wolthuis Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, June 26th, 2028 It was announced today by the Alexander Cartwright League that Wisconsin Dells third baseman Volmer Wolthuis had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .357 batting average, 5 hits and 4 home runs. Wolthuis also racked up 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far this season Wolthuis is hitting .239 with 16 home runs. |
