5-for-5 Day for Hamada
Tuesday, June 20th, 2028
There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.

Ichizo Hamada of the Rock River Rats had one such moment at The Clone Army today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Rock River fell to a 12-10 defeat to the San Antonio Storm Troopers.

"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 22-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."

Ichizo Hamada doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jacob Berry in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

So far this season Hamada is batting .370 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 162 at-bats, 17 walks and a .425 OBP. Hamada has played in 49 games.
