Player of the Week: Frisco's Sun Monday, May 29th, 2028 At the age of 28, Yen-nien Sun might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Frisco catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .400 batting average. For his efforts Sun collected the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. Thus far this season in 46 games Sun is batting .353 with 13 home runs, 42 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 190 at-bats. |
