Season-Ending Injury for Manuel Romero Thursday, May 25th, 2028 The season is finished for Manuel Romero of the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Beetlecats starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Pacifica Shamrocks. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. Currently Romero has a 1-2 won-lost record in 3 starts with a 6.83 ERA. He also has 42 strikeouts in 27.2 innings. |
