Temple's Ichikawa to Miss Season Friday, April 14th, 2028 Tsuneyo Ichikawa has to call it a season. The Temple Goers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Riverside Red Bulls and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ichikawa was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 10 months. Over the season Ichikawa has thrown 6.2 innings and dished out 3 strikeouts with a 0-0 mark and a 1.35 ERA. |
