Skipper Gander Put out to Pasture in Sandy Springs Sunday, November 7th, 2027 The marriage is over in Sandy Springs. The rocky and often tumultuous relationship between Spartans skipper Jon Gander and the front office has finally come to an end. It's unclear what specifically led to the firing but it is speculated to be a myriad of things, but mainly a difference in philosophy. This leaves the Sandy Springs Spartans in limbo as they search for another manager. No word was given to the press about his successor. When reporters asked about the dismissal, Gander responded, "It is what it is. They didn't like what I was doing and that's all that matters. Like I've told my players my entire managerial career, when bad things happen all you can focus on is turning the page. It's time I follow my own advice." |
