Skipper Tim Bright Dismissed in Boise Wednesday, November 3rd, 2027 The future of the Boise Hawks will not include Tim Bright. Much-criticized for his in-game managing by local scribes of late, Bright has been fired as manager of the Hawks. The decision is believed to have been made primarily by the team's owner, who was always quick to publicly criticize Bright's decisions on the field and in the clubhouse. When reached at his home in Boise, the owner said the decision was made "in the best interest of the team," but he refused to elaborate on the specific reasons which led to the firing. Bright told BNN he plans to explore his options for another job in baseball. "I'll miss Boise and I'll miss the Hawks, but I won't miss having everything I do second-guessed," he said. |
