Rock River Rats Win Top Spot in Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division Thursday, September 23rd, 2027 While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the Rock River Rats, the club has taken the first step of clinching the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division title. "It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said reliever Kyu-cheol Ch'oe. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now." It was the team's 1st division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 1st DOUBLE A championship. "The end goal hasn't changed - win the Double A World Series," said manager John Smiley. "We think we've got the team to do it." |
