Simpson Picked as August's Pitcher of the Month Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 32-year-olds don't often go 5-1 in and haul away the best pitcher award, but Paul Simpson did all that. Now, he's the toast of the Alexander Cartwright League. Today he was crowned the Pitcher of the Month for August. In 6 starts he posted a 1.54 ERA and struck out 49 batters in 41 innings. So far this year Simpson has a 11-2 record with a 2.60 ERA. |
