Ford Frick League Names Top Player Monday, August 9th, 2027 22-year-old Luppe Missel made a few Sandy Springs headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .583 average. Missel collected no home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the year Missel is batting .308 with 5 home runs, 36 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
