Cincinnati Starting Pitcher Hurt Saturday, July 17th, 2027 Earlier today, Cincinnati starting pitcher Ukessun Ilaes had to leave the game against Madison because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder and will miss 6 months of play. Ilaes was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Presently Ilaes has a 6-2 mark in 4 starts with a 2.49 ERA. He has given up 50 hits in 76 innings, struck out 77 and issued 60 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .195 batting average against him. |
