Red Bulls Fear Worst, Gonzáles's Career Over Wednesday, July 7th, 2027 It looked bad when it happened during the game. Then, later on, one could tell from the grim faces in the Riverside clubhouse that the team had lost César Gonzáles to a serious injury. Gonzáles, in fact, had sustained a concussion making a defensive play in yesterday's Red Bulls-Beetlecats game at Bloomfield Road. The center fielder's season -- and likely his baseball career -- is over at the age of 25. Gonzáles is hitting at a .393 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
