Kobayashi Best FFL Starter in May Tuesday, June 1st, 2027 There's something about a young rookie winning the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Mitsuo Kobayashi, a 21-year-old starter for the Sandy Springs Spartans. In May, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 2.09 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 38.2 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing teams to a .204 average. This year Kobayashi has a 6-1 record with a 4.35 ERA. |
