Wolverines Chill Villa's Hot Streak Thursday, April 8th, 2027 Juan Villa's 24-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Lights 6-5 setback to the Wolverines. Villa went without a hit in 5 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Villa said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." |
