Witt Decides on Football Career, Passes on Baseball Sunday, December 3rd, 2028 South Bay multi-sport star John Witt has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his football career. Despite his love of baseball, Witt says he likes his prospects on the gridiron better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Arsenal starting pitcher.
