McDonald Wins BCL 2028 Silver Slugger Award
Sunday, October 29th, 2028
He may have less experience than most of his TRIPLE A peers, but that didn't slow Edmund McDonald down at all in 2028.
At the age of 24, the Pasadena first baseman has been named the winner of the Blake Camden League Silver Slugger Award.
He had a .312 batting average and a .384 on-base percentage this year. In 153 games he piled up 181 hits, 30 doubles, 5 triples, 42 home runs, 127 RBIs and 112 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
Tokuma Eida of the Pasadena Bumblebees finished second in voting, while Mendel Israel of the Billings Mustangs finished third.
