Rizvi's Condition Worse, Gets Another Setback Sunday, October 1st, 2028 The Pasadena Bumblebees announced today that Nadir Rizvi would be missing for longer than expected as the 28-year-old left fielder recovers from a strained hip muscle. "Nadir had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Bumblebees GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Rizvi would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 3 weeks more recovery time." This year Rizvi is hitting .251 with 114 hits, 25 home runs, 92 RBIs and has scored 74 runs. |
